一项关于“大学生网恋”的调查显示，在大学生群体中，网恋正成为一种比较普遍的交往与恋爱方式。那么，“网恋”怎么说呢？
About 90 percent of Chinese university students regard "Internet love" as an effective way to satisfy their emotional needs, according to a survey by Northeast China Normal University.
The survey found that 18.4 percent of respondents admitted they had at least one Internet lover. In addition, 38 percent revealed people around them were having on-line love affairs.
东北师范大学一项调查显示，近九成大学生认为，网恋是满足情感需要的一种方式，18.4%的人选择将网恋带入现实生活。“近四成大学生报告自己周围的同学有网恋现象。
网恋简单表达为“internet love”或者为“on-line love”，那么，相对于网恋这样虚拟的恋爱关系“virtual love”，真实的恋爱关系则表达为“realistic relationship”。
