China's exports will be better in 2010 than last year and February's exports saw an increase from the previous month, said Minister of Commerce Chen Deming during the annual session of the country's top advisory body on Wednesday.
The central government will launch several foreign purchase projects this year, Chen said during the third session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
According to statistics released by China's customs, January exports achieved a year-on-year increase of 21 percent from the 17.7 percent in December. Imports in January saw a year-on-year increase of 85.5 percent, a big surge from December, which stood at 56 percent. The trade surplus was reduced compared with the same period last year.
