Wuhan municipal government's development blueprint for the next decade has been reviewed by the State Department, local newspaper the Yangtze Daily reported Friday.

The State Department gives a clear signal for the central city to be built into "the hub of central metropolises, a national historical and cultural city, a vital industrial and technological base, and a comprehensive transportation pivot".
